Saffron Salmon

An elegant meal for special guests or a romantic dinner for two, this saffron salmon dish is loaded with nutrition and flavor.


  • 4 to 6 ounces fish of choice (salmon, halibut, sole)

  • ½ cup capers

  • 3-4 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 pinches saffron

  • 1 handful of parsley

  • 8 slices of fresh ginger


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  2. Using a sharp knife, make about 4-5 slices of salmon. Dab both sides of salmon dry with paper towels, season both sides with saffron, crushed black pepper, and parsley.

  3. Meanwhile, in a small pan heat olive oil and cook capers. Stir for about 3 minutes.

  4. Bake the salmon until cooked through, about 15 -30 minutes.

  5. Once salmon is baked, top it off with crispy capers

  6. Enjoy
